Played correctly, it is excellent in PuGs on single-target bosses such as the ones from Challenge Mode Fractals, most notably Sorrowful Spellcaster (Light and Dark Ai) and Ensolyss, or any boss with little to no phases. Overall, this build is an excellent pick if taken as an alt class: it is meant for players who enjoy high-risk, high-reward rotations. However, it doesn't suffer too much from a lack of Alacrity due to the nature of Initiative. This build possesses a decent amount of self-sustain, due to Maleficent Seven, but it suffers greatly from a Quickness deficit. Lastly, Basilisk Venom can bring up to 750 Defiance Bar damage, if used at the proper moment, meaning if all instances of this ability are consumed when the boss is vulnerable to this type of damage (up to ten stacks, two per player). As such, it is necessary to be running with a Superior Sigil of Bursting as it will become very valuable in bursting phases.
Consequently, the Condi Deadeye is able to apply a tremendous amount of Poisoned and Bleeding instances, as well as an non-negligible amount of Torment. Instead, the value of this build comes almost entirely from the pure damage that it will bring, which is inflated by the Condi Soulbeast's Vulture Stance, on top of Venom Skills which can be precasted on the Mistlock Sanctuary, and casted again as soon as your allies have consumed them by attacking the target. The Condi Deadeye is quite a selfish build, that will not provide your party with any form of support. In most cases a party wants to keep a Renegade as source for Alacrity. Condi Renegade provides Alacrity and some Might through Orders from Above and Heroic Command respectively, Soulcleave's Summit that can help your party sustain to high pressure situations, and to top it off, very good cc skills like Darkrazor's Daring, Temporal Rift and Scorchrazor.Ĭondi Renegade is pretty independent due to its rather good mobility ( Echoing Eruption, Frigid Blitz, Call to Anguish) and its permanent 25 Might thanks to Heroic Command and Incensed Response.Įven if Condi Renegade does less damage than a Condi Firebrand or a Condi Soulbeast, it is still the better pick over Power Renegade on Sunqua Peak CM, especially on Dark Phase (Second Phase). Though, Condi Renegade has a very decent damage output and can be pretty efficient when played properly. Condi Renegade is a unique role that you will want to play on Sunqua Peak only, as Power Renegade is better in any other fractals.
